This is Mei, an old D&D character. While her game remains sadly unfinished, I have a lot of love for my prickly rouge. Er, Paladin. It was a long story. She has a deliberately silly, kung-fu movie style background, with a affluent father murdered by some animal themed kung-fu gang. I think I was calling them the serpent clan? Maybe they were actually snakes, who knows? And she is a bit of a rebellious princess, with itchy palms, who doesn't want to give up the high life! She was meant to be a bit tropey, for the fun of it.

This was an experiment, and is very far from perfect, but at this point I think the problems I am running into are above all with the style of the drawing itself, and some technique errors due to learning, so I am calling it done. I do this I got a satisfying mix of eastern themes and a western style, which I wanted. I will be exploring this toony-realism style more in the future. Hopefully I can reduce the time involved with better mastery.
