Reaky comes from a small-poor village just outside the Kingdom of Grandure. He was orphaned as a child and taken in by a foster family who cared for him. At first many believed that he was a monster, but his caring family did'nt care. He grew up, but it wasn't easy. Not only because he was poor, but many of the villagers still avoided him growing whether it was out of fear and/or his strong odor. Always hungry due to lack of meals he "accidenlty" discovered one day that he had a very odd ability. One day a bully who was ready beat poor Reaky down tripped and fell into Reaky's shocked gaping mouth. Without realizing what had happened he had devoured the bully and almost just s quickly digested him. The next thing he new Reaky suddenly felt different. Not only was he full from such a good meal, but he had temporarily gained the bullies tallents. Reaky was suddenly stronger, faster, and knew ways to give nerds wedgies. Reaky took this as a sign that he was born to be something better. He was born to be a hero! Reaky knew he had to keep his special power a secret fearing the that his parents may dishone him or the villagers would banish him. Secretly practicing his ability on other "sinister" people Reaky knew that over time people would realize why the village population was slowly getting smaller. Not wanting to put his parents in danger Reaky set out one night after leaving a note vowing to bring fame and riches back to the village.

Not long after leaving Reaky stumbled into his first road block at a local item shop. With little money saved Reaky attempted to barter with the annoyed shop keeper. With no food and starving, and the shopkeeper growing angrier Reaky sprung into action with a solution. Now with a full stomach of ill-tempered shopkeeper Reaky became temporarily business savvy and understood why he couldn't buy a hundred gold potion for only five gold. That and their really was no such thing as a "beginner hero discount." Feeling silly Reaky closed the store and left empty handed. Needing to start somewhere he headed off in search of some work at the castle of Grandure. Maybe there would be a quest that would make him a true hero!
