Yeah, I was trying to get that across XD
You sort of have to push the poses and expression a bit to get the narrative across when you're not adding extraneous elements like text or props or multiple characters, otherwise these sorts of drawings look a little flat.
Not saying I'm -great- at making things dynamic yet, but it's a study in progress X3
