This is one of the many Star Wars trilogy VHS box sets that i have. This being the "Faces" set released back in 1995. This set was notable in that it was the last release of the unaltered cuts of the original trilogy on home video before the Special Editions came out a little over two years later in early 1997, it was also the last release of said versions until the Limited Edition DVD's released over ten years later.
These tapes were the way i primarily watched the movies as a kid, i also liked watching the interviews between George and Leonard Maltin at the beginning.
Note: There was a widescreen edition of this set released also, but that variation is a little harder to come by than the full screen edition that is pictured here.

Yeah it sucks that the unaltered versions haven't been released in any form since the Limited Edition discs back in 2006. I would love it if they could find better prints/sources and release them on future sets, though that probably won't happen any time soon. These tapes do still have minor changes like the Episode IV subtitle that was added to the original films' crawl from the 1981 re release onwards, as well as some sound effect additions that were made on the early '90s LaserDisc sets. However those modifications were nothing compared to the horrible CG additions and music replacements that went into the Special Editions and onward from there.
