I'm just wondering if the bass uses a different formula. Does "Every Good Bird Does Fly" and the spaces make a "FACE" also apply to the bass, or does it use a different formula?
Yes, what you said is correct for the treble clef. The Bass clef effectively it is reversed. If you take middle C on the treble clef you will notice it is on the first 'line' under the stave. In the bass clef, middle C is the note on the first line 'above' the stave. Notes then proceed in the usual fashion downwards.
I found this on Google images, it may be of use: http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y2.....TTERSlines.jpg
The same notes that are flat in the treble cleff, are also flat in the bass clef. It's just the lines on the bass clef refer to different notes than on the treble clef.
Hope that helps!
And thank you; that helped a very great tremendous deal.
And you are welcome! Thanks for the fave :)
what an interesting scale... Might be fun to try this later :)
Hope you enjoyed playing! More will be coming soon (it just takes so long to score things out / make it readable)
