Entitled: Companionship <^_^>
This is my submission entry to SimbaGirl’s competition, [link]. Her theme “What does it mean to love” was an excellent theme, very deep and hard to depict. I think my choice of visuals, background composition and character placement adds to its meaning. I think the choice of characters was essential for the overall message.
I tried a new method for creating the rocks and the waterfall, basically everything including the plants. I used a color combination and a smudging tool to get the effect of the rocks and the magical lifelike effect of the steam and waterfall. I also included a particle effect to all of the rocks to improve their life likeness.
I sincerely hope SimbaGirl like it! I thoroughly enjoyed working on it. To be quiet honest this piece has stretched me to the next level of my art. “I hope =^_^=” I spent all night last night trying to finish it. Have not done an all night-err in a while.
I so pleased with the result and hope all of you furrys enjoy it as much as I do. Special thanks to WolfHaku, [link] for letting me use her character. I greatly appreciate it and she draws beautifully.

I'm coming to find..that what I enjoy about your pictures is how you have the artwork flowing together quite well with the background. How they're both interacting with the pieces of the background rather than just having it be static and unmoving. I think that's rather nice.
This here is also. colorful. It's vibrant. Because of the waterfall and mountain background you have as well as the coloration of the two used for the picture. It.. really does go along with the description that you have going here. And I found that appealing.
