McClaw has a 'dice challenge' that he brings around to cons. the idea is that whatever the artist wants to charge for a commission (in my case, $40 for an inked piece) the artist must choose some 'story-idea' dice from a bag, and roll them (one die for every ten dollars of the commission.) The dice I got were: pizza, falling, sad, and crying/frustrated.
The art must contain all the elements of the dice roll.
I spent all that night trying to think up something funny and cool to do...nothing. The next morning...it came to me...and I drew this piece during the day in the dealer's room.
For my first time drawing one of the Turtles, I think it came out pretty well!
