This has to be one of the more elaborate things I have seen you make in a while, like seriously there is so much going on here it is kinda nuts. Characters are great looking, especially the Rick looking one, definitely a ton of energy there... really cool stuff with the vehicle details, the background dashing by, and the rad looking sparks. Man this is something, really cool work here
Surely the flux capacitor has been jury-rigged into some part of the TARDIS, to help it with some slight engine/electrical problem it was having. So hitting 88 miles an hour activates the flux capacitor (or charges it or.. whatever it does), and allows the TARDIS to jump to somewhere more conducive to recharging. Some rift point somewhere.
"Look Morty, look. You see that Morty? Th-that's a TARDIS Morty, f-f-forge-*urghhhhp* about the train, Mo- what's a TARDIS? Jesus Christ Morty don't you know anything a-a-a-about anything?"
