with a nod to FurrSymphony I took a bit longer exposure of the moon, and pushed the color saturation to really dig out the natural colors, I find it pleasing. but I'll put in scraps due to being so similar to the one I put in tha gallery. not sure which one should be in scraps and which in gallery...

Nice Shot. It says 50mm in the metadata but I'm assuming that is wrong. This taken with the Tamron 200-500?

no, a lot more zoom than that, Meade ext90 telescope. ~ 1200 mm

Oh Awesome! It turned out really well :) I've always worried about getting a haze, a lot of purple fringing or even just not in focus photos from a Telescope (or Telescope like "lens")

I think I do too, color on the moon is more atypical. though the lower exposure one is sharper..
