A short comic/PSA i did up quickly for the "AUTOSAVER" by Door2windows
http://www.door2windows.com/autosav.....automatically/
I am not saying its a great program, but might be a good way to add some auto saving to your computer
i discovered this program while dealing with the Australian heat killing the power in my house (Seriously is a problem =w=;; )
And actually saved this comic a few times today! talk about irony (am i using that right?)
NOTE! it only works while focused on a window its set to auto-save, so no background autosaving,
BUT if you "get into the zone" and forget to save for an hour, this might save your butt, and your files!
course let me know if there are any problems, i am only using this program cause it was the simplest and smallest one there seemed to be
(only other one i could find was last updated in 2009, where this one atleast seems to be confirmed to work with windows 10 )
So enjoy the silly comic, and hope this program helps out!

I don't trust programs that use hotkey macros, especially since you can't customize the macro.
The reason I don't support autosavers is because there's no form of version control. If the program screws up while saving, your whole work can be irreversibly corrupted. Plus, there's that' whole sense of false security. There's a reason why most software doesn't do autosaving.
Remembering to save, and using multiple versions of a work while working on it, is a necessary evil. Once it's a habit, you'll never lose anything again. It would be nice if programs would do autosaving correctly, of course, but that's too much to ask. :/

its usually why during big edits i save a separate file, or when i go from sketching to inking
even on some of my big works i place date stamps so that at most i can only lose a days work
Not saying using an auto saver is prefect, but i have seen that many people gripe about losing hours of work to a computer crash
But yes, best policy is continually save, multiple copies, i just wish some of these programs would support "Incremental saving" where it just adds a number to the end of the save file,
