^w^ My mother repurposes some old rabbit hutch wire every year along with some covered cable in order to leave out a suet block for the teeming woodpecker populations in this area.
And I managed to get a fairly decent shot (finally!) of one of these birds--this one is a hairy woodpecker that visits frequently. Just a little bigger than a Downy woodpecker and with a bit of a different red spot on the head (and slightly "hairy" leg fluff XD). He was trying to be sneaky and avoid detection... but he really really wanted some suet. X3
