Welp... Looks like you walked into Gable's territory and he caught you by surprise. I hope you're ready to face the consequences~
Anyway... I tried my hand at drawing my newest character, Gable the zorgoia. Sadly, I have to admit I am disappointed with the result. It looks kinda bad to me. There are some problems with the symmetry here and there, the markings look awful... Meh...
Welp, at least I used it as practice. Next time I have to make sure to draw the markings before scanning the page. Trying to do them with the trackpad is a frigging nightmare. :V

I know. Drawing with a mouse is not fun, but drawing with a trackpad in a laptop is even worse. XwX
That's why I draw on paper, scan it and then color digitally. I can color in the laptop just fine, but the drawing part requires some movement freedom. =w=

Oh good lord I can only guess how hard it must be, I don't even like using a trackpad for anything when i'm using my laptop.. So drawing with one, sounds really annoying. x.x
Wishing I could draw on paper, I've tryed in the past and I find myself reaching for a undo button that does not exist. But glad that at least colouring on a trackpad is doable!

Well, draw on paper should be more or less the same thing as drawing on a tablet. The only difference is that there isn't an undo button anywhere.
That's why you have to do a sketch first. With a pencil. :P
You use the pencil for the rough sketch, which then is used as a guide for when you decide to use the marker to ink.
You can get mistaken with the pencil, but you can't really erase the ink. If you mess up with the inking, you'll have no other choice but to try to correct it digitally while you color... And it's not always that easy to do so. XwX
