Yup, this was a full blown switch for me since I wanted to have some form of an explanation to why I changed species instead of what most people do where it's "I'm changing to this species now, why? Because I said so!" ><

That's an excellent way to handle the change then! So what made you choose to become an opossum? What about them feels like you?

Well for starters I switched to an opossum since when I first joined this fandom as a fox it was a bit of a cop-out thing of me to do since I didn't know too much of what I should be and that like everybody, I thought a fox would be a great choice, but then I learned it's a bit of a dime-a-dozen species here. So switching was a good way to start fresh again as something I fully liked for a change instead of being 50\50. For why I think it feels more like me; well there's a slight running gag in my family that they think i'm too sneaky, and I sometimes jokingly say that i'm vermin. So with those two mindsets in place for what could be a bit of the groundwork for a species that could be relate-able. I feel an opossum fits me since they're know for staying away from people\others and I personally try avoiding a good majority of people. They may sound and look intimidating but are quite harmless since it's all an act and I admit there are times I do try to sound intimidating (not implying threats here) but I honestly wouldn't even come close to doing anything since it's no fun being mean. Opossums look cute and are almost like giant rats from a quick glance and can fit the whole "vermin" title. And finally, opossums play dead and as an avid airsofter, I do tend to "die" a lot and will sometimes have fun with it when I get shot out during games. =P

Those all sounds like very good reasons! Opossums are pretty awesome and I am always thrilled to see them. I completely sympathize with the vermin bit because that is part of the reason I became a Rat not long after joining the fandom.

How does Airsoft compare to Paintball?

It's sorta like night and day on what you can do. You have more variety on what weapons you want to use, what you can\want to wear, and it feels much more relaxed and serious then paintball. In paintball it felt so elitist where I was being told what I am "required to wear" and how everybody was speedrunning with no real tactical reasoning behind it like it was a COD game. Here in airsoft you can have people who will try to relay orders and organize plans on how to attack. You can also look however you want; you can have people who will dress like they are going to the grocery store since they just want to play and then you can have people who go all into it and have full replica uniforms. Plus not having to deal with paint everywhere is always a huge plus in airsoft ^_^
