In the cold winter night
a young dragon slept.
He shivered and grumbled
in his newly found kept.
If only another creature
could help him stay warm.
A kind, loving soul
with no specific form.
The sun seemed to shine
and rise in the sky.
The cold was replaced.
His tears began to dry.
A beautiful angel appeared
with a smile so bright.
It gave warmth like a fire
and shined its own light.
She held her arms
around the dragon's muzzle.
She cooed and talked sweetly.
And gave him a soft nuzzle.
His maw curled in a smile.
He rested his eyes.
Her love was so great.
His heart lifted so high.
When he opened his eyes,
She was gone in the dream.
But he knew she'd be back.
Destined together
Now and forever
(Yes I know the last ones don't match with the rest of the poem in rhyming. I'm rusty at poems ^-^')
