Yeah, dunno what else to call it :I
might make a decent side dish i guess.
Ingredients:
White rice (my go-to is the calrose variety)
Garlic powder
Dried dill
Black pepper
Roasted red chili paste (at least a few spoonfuls, or you could use a whole (tiny) jar because it tastes good)
Sundried tomato pesto
Cream cheese
Water or stock/broth (for cooking the rice)
MO:
Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package/whatever it comes in. While the rice is cooking, add as much pepper, garlic powder, and dried dill as you like/think you can get away with.
A few minutes before the rice is cooked to your liking, add the chili paste, tomato pesto and cream cheese, and additional water or broth if you think it needs it. Again, this is all according to preference, so add as much or as little as you want (i only had like a spoonful of pesto. Otherwise would've added half a jar or so). Mix it all together and let it finish cooking.
And that's some rice stuff done. Some of you may notice my recipes becoming slightly repetitive with the ingredients. (cream cheese, tomato pesto, etc.) I like to work with what i have when i can think of something to make with it.
Also may as well point out that it would probably be even more delicious if you add meat.
Ground beef, sausage, maybe even crab! Or mushrooms. Extra credit, people!
