That awkward moment when Kion realized he failed yet again to draw as good as Rafiki does. XD
Okay, that was a bit of a mood killer right there. The idea for this picture originally came to me from the Van Halen song of the same name. I wanted to do another drawing with Kion again since that seems to be the popular thing now, and I've been seeing a lot of pictures and fanfics lately about him turning out evil like Scar did. While I like the concept of him being tempted to use the Roar of the Elders for nefarious purposes, I don't think he'd fully go through with it like Scar did. He could come close for sure, but never to the point of no return. Not with Simba around, that is. So in this, he's looking at one of the old cave paintings of Scar beside the other five previous Lion Guard leaders. Being the seventh guard of his time (hence the title of this), Kion swears to himself and the Great Kings to never follow in his paw prints or use the roar for evil. But Kion is still scared on the inside, because he knows he'll be tempted by evil sooner or later, and he dreads the day when it'll happen. Being the leader of the guard is a stressful experience for him sometimes, and he doesn't want to give in to that. But until then, he remembers his old motto: 'Till the Pride Lands end, Lion Guard defend. At least, as best as he and his guard possibly can.

It's this one website I always hear about on DeviantArt that has a lot of animated shows and movies on it for free viewing. You only have to sign up if you want to download anything; If you just want to watch, then there's no sign-up needed. Every episode of The Lion Guard is on there so far, so I'd recommend checking it out for that.
