Yup, lots of work into the pencil version and the effort is more evident, but I like colour so had to make the digital version out of it...just a real pity that the actual original went AWOL (though I have a strong suspicion on who it was).. thanx though, I'm mostly happy with how it turned out :)
Your pencil lines were so nice that I thought digitizing it must have ruined it, but now I think it really enhanced it. I bet they don't have bones or even flesh under there, and their whole body through and through completely changes shape in strong winds. All fur. You're very good at making a soft digital fur texture.
