Whoa! i'm actually posting more new stuff! and this one just spawned out of nothing and on a whim, followed by it's now setting i'm slowly polishing up. so if any info that sounds odd, confusing or contrasts each other, thats why. so give me time. but lets get to the fun stuff. the backstory! here, i experimented with writing a interview story to get myself more polished in writing. It's a long one but i hope everyone enjoys it!
Chimeras. the super soldiers and protectors of a world where Technology and magic both mate and create astonishing creations, but also beckons disaster and chaos. if it were not for Chimeras and their personal sacrifice, our world could have been lost many decades ago. But what do these Chimeras risk to become these beings with the strength of 10 of the strongest men and resistance to magic? Besides to forever share and control a single body of destruction with one, two or even three other people? From what i learned in my interview with one such Chimera, it’s alot more then what you could imagine.
Jenira, as she calls herself, is a Chimera. A soldier of the military and member of one of the Chimera Special Magical Response and Defiance, or C.S.M.R.D. Lt. of the Anti Beast Platoon, who specialize in both close quarters combat (CQC) and long range combat. dealing with monsters and mythical creatures who wonder our plane of existence. She will recount and explain everything about what's it like as a Chimera and the dangers of it in my interview.
“First off,” the middle head of Jenira began. “I want the record to know i am basically one person, but one person who represents three people. Jenny, Iris and Indera. i still remember everything from the time Jenny cheated on Misha in high school, to when Iris scraped her knee when she was 8 in the juniors karate class.” She says as a smile runs across all three faces, as if recounting these memories gave her joy. so i ask my first question. ‘Do all Chimeras remember the former lives of their former selves?’ to this i was spoken to by the right head, use to be called ‘Jenny’. Once a local town, heavy metal singer, with a wild attitude and rebellious lifestyle, now she is Jenira and i barely see any hint of this once wild girl except for the toothy smile she gave me.
“It’s honestly varies from each Chimera.” she explains to me. “Some Chimeras hardly, if ever, become single minded or ‘fully blended’ as we call it. there are chimeras who are still two people sharing a body but in most cases, now share new likes and experiences. Sex being a common one.” and it was then i think a bit of Jenny snuck out to make my blush as her toothy grin only widens. the other two heads just softly chuckle at my expense as she continues. “some of those Chimeras either never blend further or slowly progress to become almost the same person. Sometimes even becoming one whole new person and they don’t have a choice in the matter. The military hardly cares though, i mean this side effect does help moral and even helps the effectiveness of each chimera. but honestly it’s really a double edge sword.” it was then i ask this to her.
“What is blending and why is it a troubling matter for most Chimeras?” the left head answered for me. This head once formerly belonging to Indera, a formal medical student but also, in a former life, use to be a hostess for ‘distinguished gentlemen.’ i still can still hear her lustrous voice in my head still as i write this.
“Blending is a side effect of becoming a Chimera.” the left head states to me. “It’s hardly rare but it’s effects are different for everyone. some never get it and others, like me, get it severely. It mentally slowly merges everyone's thoughts, changing their personalities. Memories and secrets are shared unknowingly, privacy in your own mind is useless and soon, you act different. each head starts acting almost the same, speaking their thoughts through your mouth, your thoughts arguing with theirs and finishing sentences for others. then… you become like us. I am 80% blended of three people and their memories that makes who they are, are the sam memories that make who i am. i speak and think for myself but also for them sometimes. i guess you could say i’m really 4 people in 1. but in some cases, it’s never likes that. some become ‘fully blended’ and become one, whole. new person. each head is like a representation of the single person… sorta like me, but they lose all the memories of their former lives. the heads never act independently. it’s like their overwritten by this one, dominating personality. and that's sorta the reason some people are afraid to become Chimeras. Because what's worth more than losing what makes them, themselves?” it was then myself and they were silent. Jenira takes a drink of cold water with their right head as the others clear their throats, each soon getting a share of the water. it was then i looked at their body. even as she sat in the chair, she was massive compared to me. 6’7”, three legs, 4 arms, 4 breasts and a long, fluffy, cat-like tail ending in a snake rattle. I Honestly couldn't tell if she was a exotic amazon or a monster with her body, but her eyes, the way she spoke about herself and the others like her reassure me the later was not the case. i ask about their body and the bodies of other Chimeras, just to change topics. She quickly perked up. and spoke about it
“Well each and every Chimera is different.” the middle head from before, once being called Iris, spoke up. Iris was a former kick box trainer and a college student. from what i heard, she lost the ability to use her legs after a car accident. As i write this, a part of me wonders. While the reason for why the other two decided to merge to become a Chimera illudes me. i can’t help but think Iris thought merging to be a Chimera would let he be able to walk again? “Each of us have different number of limbs, from not just heads but to the the height and shape of our bodies, but also the number of limbs we have. So far though most Chimeras could have a max of 10 limbs or just 6. you almost, never see a chimera with just 2 arms and 2 legs. The oldest record of a chimera to have the most limbs was 12 so far. apparent in the old days, there was once a Chimera who have 10 arms and 2 legs. how they could even stand i’ll never figure out.” it was then, each head spoke more about this, each seamlessly taking a turn to talk more about this, but it was mostly more of the same thing. as soon as she finally paused all three heads to take a breath i ask my final question for her. “do you ever think about if it was worth it to your former selves? the three women who, basically made you and who you are now. and what would you say to them if you could speak to them ”
Jenira, when asked about this in the interview says this. “i think it was worth the risk for each of them to merged. they all had a reason to start a new life. to start over. Jenny was scared when the blending effect started to get stronger for them.” it was then i saw the right head lower it’s muzzle as her eyes turned somber behinde her shades. speaking of Jenny. “she was so scared of the change and the others tried to help her cope. she tried to push them away but honestly, she was slowly becoming a new person with them no matter what. she struggled less and less but her fear still linged until i was aware of who i am.” she said as she removed her sunglasses from her right head to wipe away her tears. “i sometimes wish i could have been there to help her cope. but… nevertheless I’m pretty glad, i- they, went this operation honestly.” Jenira says. “And i’m glad i’ve not lost everyone's memories. not only does it feel like i’m i never alone but, i will always remember Jenny, Iris and Inedra. and the lives they had and reminisce about them. i even go see some of their old friends and family when off duty. but i make sure to only let the head they know speak to em.” it was here we saw her right head suddenly stopped crying, and a wide, toothy smirk crossed it’s face as it looks to the other heads. “Yea, we really freaked Indera’s folks when we recounted her life.” and in an instant, ‘Jenny’ was back to Jenira, who blushed with all three heads as a hand, as if self consciously, pets the right heads muzzle. either this was actually Jenny or a subconscious thought, i would not know, nor bother asking Jenira.
To become a Chimera, a group of people have to sacrifice alot of their personal freedom, privacy, and sometimes, their minds if they are affected by the blending side effect. the military concocted a formula that allows new members to become chimeras but without the blending effect, but also no need to merge with other people, but insteads duplicates the head and limbs. they are not as tall, strong or resistant to magic as other Chimeras but their still a force to be reckoned with. Still, Chimeras merged with others are still used to this day and still fight to protect us from the monsters, the dangers and troubles of the world around us

(Rereads this and learns that Chimeras are supposed to possess magic resistence.)
(Remembers that he wrote Rainseia as being gene-spliced with DNA from Machamp, a Fighting Type Pokemon.)
(That means Rainseia is Fighting type.)
(That makes Rainseia vulnerable to Fairy type.)
(Rainseia is a Chimera that's weak against Magic.)
Whoops!!
