This actually reminds me of the water view I had back when I lived in Washington. It was pretty cool when a whale and her kid passed through.

Yep! Whales passed through the area occasionally and we were lucky to see them. I have a photo of one of their pectoral fins being raised somewhere, hopefully I still have it.
