Better hope that blade is made of silver.
One of my favorite pictures. Despite attempting to slash my face off, this man turned out to be one of my best friends EVAR.

Thanks! I know, they're not very common. I actually see a number of people with stilts, but never actually finished and attached a suit, they're just walking around on metal legs.
These here are actually super old and the first pair I ever made, they're actually made from wood! If you look up on Youtube Gryphern's werewolf stilts, mine are very similar with some tweaks to make them mine, but you can learn a lot from that video! If you still have questions you can come back though :)
I'm currently in the process of making my 'sona into a suit, and he will require some pretty intricate stilts, so I'm doing some redesigns, mainly hoping to get them made out of high quality sturdy aluminum. The wood is quite blocky and heavy, and while I haven't had anything bad happen yet, I tend not to trust wood for too long, especially with constant pounding of the feet. I mean, I've worn these stilts since this picture and besides the hinges being a little squeaky, they still work great, but I'd like to progress from wood.
