Well, after drawing a whole batch of picture without any shadowing. coloring and stuff like that, i needed to get back to it if only once before the next sequence, question to know if i can draw stuff that doesn't looks like a kid drawing.
This is prety much a wip, or more precisely the first half of a picture. Stuff i tried :
-tried to draw the hair near the ear so thait it looks less like a banana when seen on the side...no idea if it makes sense...maube those hairs are in a quest for a new head?
-Smaller outline lines : at first i used larger one so that it looks less shaky. but with some shadowing and a matching background(a detail i never flashed on until now...always putting a blue background was maybe not a good idea...or maybe it DOES not matter...whatever). I tried that once in the past with super lame result. I think it's better now.
-Drawing my character standing from the side...yeah that may sounds stupid, but i consciously or unconsciously avoided that until now...makes me realize that i'm thinner than i thought, i must not eat enough. And that chest luff makes me looks like i have boobs like a girl...or are i one? If so, this lacks eyelashes! Man i really must do some research on chestfluff now...
In other words...all that time and i still don't know how to draw myself? Man i certainly sucks!

It looks like you want to sit on your red couch and there is that mouse from before and you think about how it will be when you sit down XDDD

I would be happy enough to simply consider what i draw good! I guess you get the Tom & Jerry feeling simply because of the big eyes!
I would like to match the pro, but honestly don't be fooled, there'S still alot of colorization technique to learn before i can even pretend to such a claim! If you want to see what pro/master level stuff loks like in that style, check the gallery of silverfox!

But you know when I see yours and his, theres in my eyes a big difference. Let's cling to that Tom & Jerry feeling. When I see your style I would say a pro is like when you look at it and say... It's almost like Tom & Jerry or something else. A Cartoonish style in perfection. Less furr details on the whole body and more funny looking.
Silverfox does have an more realistic feeling not cartoonish as yours. You get a feeling like when you seeing an computer-animated series.
So when you hold it side by side then his would be the new style digitally. And yours the old style cartoony. Or something like that. It's just something personal for me but I like this style of yours pretty much. Your's is made with a PC but looks like somehow you did it with yours hands. Normalls I would say that both can be compared to each other.
If I had to choose wich one I like more in perfection I would TODAY in this case say, it could be yours, cause I like the oldish style more than the new one a bit. But I wouldn't say you shouldn't go your way. So if one day you draw like him with your own style it could be pretty good too!

Oh ok! I understand more what you meant now! Well it's a matter of taste then, so i guess my style fits yours!
Still, i have a immense respect for the other style, because it takes cartoonish character at the base and then makes them looks real, with so much détails and colors that it's really making you beleive that there's another world out there!
Each style have their perks and caveat afterall, and there's nothing preventing people to play with more than one!
