I draw what I feel,
I draw when I cry.
I draw what I wish,
but I’ll never have.

I draw her so kind,
so fragile and soft,
yet strong than me.
Her beautiful mind,
her caring and love
she would share freely
just because I love her,
just because I share my own,
just because I’m not perfect.
Because I am so dark inside,
she looks for the light in my mind’s eye.
She’s seen past my drawn curtains and still smiles.
Her kindness seems like it wells from the bottom of her soft heart
and makes me feel like, when I’m with her, my life isn’t as dark as it used to be.
She’s no stranger to pain, she’s knows these walls, the black room I locked my scarred mind in to stop the agony.
She pulls back the blinds and stands in the window to show me what it means to feel after so much numbness.
She holds it gently when my soul is bare, she makes me feel happy, she...
