*happily returns the hug* I'm glad you liked it. It took longer than I had hoped because of my lack of practice, but I didn't have much trouble figuring out how to write your character. All I had to do was remember all the 'Scanectity' stories she was in and recall what kind of person she is in them. I was pretty sure you would make a great teacher. :)

Thanks! I have very little experience with mixed families myself so I had to puzzle out what might be going on with them. I'm glad I got it to work.

You write such wonderful internal dialog. Mine tends to sound like a cross between Archie Bunker and Fish from Barney Miller. Very cool story, really well done and glad to see you writing again. :)

Heh, thanks. I do my best to climb inside the character's heads and take them for a test drive to see how they get where they're going, then just report what I find. =)

Well, thanks. I'm very glad you (and Vixyy) liked it. The biggest thing that told me I am out of practice is that this took me almost all day Sunday to write. A lot of that time was spent just staring at the screen of my laptop.

Awwww this was really enjoyable! I have to admit I usually avoid reading stories online, just reading for long on the monitor hurts my eyes I guess; but this was short enough and glad I spent the time. I was expecting some stereotypical 'problem child' issue to be going on but glad you didn't go that route. :)

I've tried my best to make him a little different from most kids, a little more mature and considerate. It makes him more enjoyable to write about.
