Well creature owner would technically be Mick39 since they created the species, aka the creature. I think you were looking for the word 'Character' though

All fan creations are treated as Non-Canon. So its really up to the owner if the character does or doesn't.

but considering the species was created by Mick39, there are those guidelines to follow just like any unique species, just like Angel dragons being genderless and having specific markings.

Talk to the characters owner then privately. Artists just do what they are paid too. An artist can't be expected to know every thing about every manmade/'closed' species. It's also not an artists job to enforce those rules.
