Nathan Frost has been given a task. He must take four students from the Academy and find out if they have the qualities needed to serve the Talwyn masters and perhaps one day become one themselves. Lacking the time to assess them the way they normally would the review committee asks him to use more Effective Measures .
Note: This is the first time I've officially depicted the Talwyn master of Shadow colors. It is a darker blue than ice with a dark gray underlayer rather than black.

I haven't made a Rhino or Elephant, but I do have a Giraffe and a Zebra. I guess I have to do something about that former lack!
And I certainly wouldn't complain about a TF spell turning me into an anthro of one of those. Hippo as well; I keep having this image of a young Hippo Prince and what his kingdom would be like.

I know what you mean. They are very beautiful and under appreciated.
I liked the idea of a noble Hippo anthro; what would his land and people be like? How might he interact with other races in the art of diplomacy and in the joy of camaraderie? There's just something appealing about it to me.

One of my bucket list items it to go on a photography safari out in the Serengeti and see these amazing creatures in their natural habitat. And we already know they an be both strong and graceful; Disney showed us so in Fantasia!
Of course they would underestimate him. I'm just not sure how I'd like to play it. For that matter, I barely have a setting or plot to go with the idea; just a character who needs a home.

My wife and I watched a Great Courses series called "36 Geological Wonders of the World". Some of the amazing places there are in the world, it really made us want to travel and see them. Well, maybe not the Acid Lakes, but a lot of them.
Still working on it. Right now trying to avoid thinking too much along Zootopia lines.

It was really amazing some of the stuff we have here that most folks don't know about. Only a couple of the places they showed were places I had been (Devil's Tower being my favorite), but there were a bunch I'd known about, and a ton I'd never heard of before (like the lava lakes, acid lakes, Maldives, and some of the river valleys in the Himalayas).
Not so much fanfic as ideas inspired by the movie in my own settings.
