I've always wanted to have a canine-sona. I used to have Kesho, one of my first fursonas ever, then I often used a wolf version of my old 'sona Blacky, and of course Aira the huskita, my "older sister": http://blackunia.deviantart.com/art.....-you-207392172 . none of them was really a good representation of myself, though. this one isn't either, but I decided I need a character to bring out my other side, opposing to the easygoing, cheerful Mushroom the Meerkat. once, back in the old days, I designed a doggy-sona for myself, but she looked quite sweet- here's a link to her only published artwork: http://blackunia.deviantart.com/art.....-you-279513202

she now became an inspiration to recreate a dog version of myself. I used chocolate and tan base of a brown dobermann, as I've always felt a connection to these dogs. I gave her a mask and some sable shades to make the design more interesting, and also as a little tribute to Roua Viara: http://blackunia.deviantart.com/art.....-TDE-384633004 whom I roleplayed her for a short time, but I felt a strong connection to her. just as Aira was like an older sister to me, Rou was a younger one, whom someone had to take care about. and I now feel I need some care too.

the curled tail comes from Aira, and the little heart-shaped spot on her chest is a memento for Blacky. the crooked nose reflects my own. so, she pretty much sums up all my lifetime up to now. it's been some time since Mushroom was born and I guess I just need a refreshment like this every few years.

the name Athaz is formed by the letters of my full name, Małgorzata. I always loved female chars with manly names, so here it is.

ahhh can't wait to draw her in some anthro art :x
