Went with a different way of colouring the water, mostly because... well... it's not a part of Lapis Lazuli's body, so I don't really feel like it needs he facets of a gem. I did try to have some sort of gem facet reflection in the water at least. Not entirely sure if it came across as I'd wanted it to.
