Traveling to the island of Viridis to seek allies in her battle against the Ashurians, Lauren found herself side by side with Queen Ciara Lohan. When she recognizes the appearance of a Keystone she chooses to aide the vulpine queen in her efforts to retain control of her kingdom. While an invisible hand manipulates events behind the scenes, the two women must join forces to protect their people. Forging a deep friendship between them, the events of the trio's insurrection would change Viridis forever...

I can't speak for any of Lauren's characters, of course, but Ciara (the fox) doesn't actually have any elemental powers, or any magic powers beyond those given her by a few enchanted trinkets. Her eyes are purple partly for complicated in-story reasons, and partly because I created her when I was nineteen and thought such things were pretty cool.
Not really, Lauren's eyes sometimes go back and forth between blue and green because I don't usually go nuts about keeping it consistent but generally I keep them blue in my head since they seem to suit her well and match her hair.
If one is trained to do so one can switch between crystal types, but it usually doesn't have any outward signs other than the effect of the craft. ;)
