Physical Appearance: Thin build but deceptively heavy, bushy eyebrows, and small but firm breasts. Woody brown and dark purple fur, with spiraling purple tufts on her elbows.

Outfits: Cyro suit that she believes is her people's 'uniform', Blue and gold Chinese style dress with large plastic red beads on her hair and holding a pink scarf around her waist. Pink and gold flower hairpin.

Occupation: 1st Mediator Officer of Manita’s ship.

None, she doesn’t know how to utilize any ‘earth’ machines more complex than a bicycle.

Powers/abilities:
Blinking- Short range teleportation and ability to ‘phase’ her body and those she touches out of the material plane and onto the ethereal plane allowing her and others to move freely through any material, including walls, floors, restraints and can phase through all physical attacks on the material plane of existence.

Long range teleportation can be accomplished by longer ‘walks’ in the ethereal plane as long as she knows the ‘end’ location.
Skin layer is as hard as granite with a layer of fur that is also as hard as stone, yet soft to the touch.

- Ingrained diplomacy and mediation techniques

Strengths:
- With her tough skin and fur and ability to ‘blink’ she is very hard to hit, and hurt.

- Can talk with a soothing voice and demonstrate an incredible sense of empathy to disputed sides of an argument.

- Capable of extreme courage when having to enter hostile areas to protect all forms of life

Weaknesses:
- Pacifist, she only does what she needs to escape an attacker and nothing more.

- Turns into a stone statue when under natural asleep. (Cryogenic or drug induced sleep keeps her in the flesh, whereas being knocked unconscious or passing out from exhaustion turns her to stone)

- Her commander’s actions often put her against superheroes who she’d rather avoid or talk them out of conflict with Manita.

-She is not immune to elements such as intense fire or electricity even when blinking. Though she has a higher resistance to cold temperatures, she still can be frozen with a powerful enough ice attack.

Bio:
Born in a test tube and artificial womb just like her commander Manita Cora, Blink is a hybrid of Shisa, Fennec Fox, and alien dna. Created by Dr. Kilwolski as a mediator and talker rather than a fighter, in hopes the girl would disarm targets with promises of peace, long before an actual military strike commenced.

Like Manita she woke up from cryogenic stasis in 2012 when their ship crashed and sank to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean. Her mental programing allowed her to instantly recognize Manita as her leader and worked with the Manticore woman and the other hybrids to save the ship and keep them all alive. Thus she is fiercely loyal to her ‘people’ even if like everyone else on the ship, she has no memories of her alien race, why they were here on Earth, a childhood, or anything else prior to waking up.

Under Manita’s orders she wanders around spying on Earthlings using her holofield generator to mask her strange looks. She has also been ordered to ‘acquire’ certain high profile Earthlings to ‘interview’ back on the ship. (And while this is ‘technically’ kidnapping she does her best to sugar coat it.) It is also through Blink that any of the aliens are able to leave the ship for the surface, since the massive pressure of the ocean above keeps anyone from swimming out.

She is often deployed by Manita to interact with heroes when the aliens have committed a crime, trying to explain or delay them until Manita or the other hybrids can escape. A fact she profusely apologizes for.

However, she is not a villain. She would rush head first into a burning building to save someone, alien or not.

Personality:

Shy and always apologizing, Blink comes off as cowardly and is easily startled by just about everything around her. But she has a great deal of courage and tenacity when lives are in danger.

She often tempers Manita’s more violent “We must destroy and conquer” speeches with common sense and could easily be considered the Yin to Manita’s Yang.

She cares dearly for life and can get quite upset if/when her follow hybrids hurt innocent people.

Still, she wants her ‘people’ to be safe and every fiber of her mind is conditioned to follow Manita’s orders. Even though she tries to find harmless ways to fulfill those orders.
