Just a bunch of random kitty doodles. I tried a lot of different stuff and would appreciate any comments regarding what you like/don't like.
Thanks in advance,
Kaffre

Ooh, I like the smug kitty, and the happy Kaffre with the rattle, and poor sad crying Kaffre, who I think needs a big cuddle, quick, and the kitty head down at the bottom that looks quite a lot like a clever squirrel!
Heehee, I've never done that drawing-circles-and-joining-them-together-with-lines thing. I see books recommending it, but I find I like my drawings a lot more if I just do them freehand... ^.^

Ooh you likes lotsa stuff! *hugs n' snugs*
Anyway yeah, the circles-thing requires quite a lot of practice before it looks any good.
I used to draw freehand a lot too, but I find it easier to deal with different poses when I use shapes, plus I have more control over the proportions. I still sometimes draw Kaffre's face freehand though, it looks cuter that way!

Wow! Practice does make perfect. You're getting really good really fast!
Nice handpaw in the upper right corner.
I think the 3-heads-tall look is suiting you very well.
Dash style? Interesting choice :3 You use a heck of a lot more guide-lines than i do. Shows much better training.

Thanks *hugs*. I'm still not entirely happy with my hands (or feet), but I like to think I'm getting better.
One of my main reasons for changing my drawing style was that my old-style characters averaged 3-1/2 to 4 heads tall which I thought looked too grownup...
After all the trouble you took to create a tutorial, I thought I owed it to us both to try Dash style for myself! I think I need a bit more practice with it though...
