Sorry! Wuff thought Starlight's program link ( http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/rd_intro.php ) had fixed your PDF proglems. Look it's even got "Fox" in the name! *grins* That program should run on older ops systems, and its completely free.

Tell ya what - if you give this wuff your email, Vargr will see if he can send you another version (RTF) that you ought to be able to read.

Be sure to let wuff know what stories you'd like to read (or chapters for those with multiple chapters), so he doesn't flood your mailbox with things you don't want.

Not much to really say about this chapter, other than "good job explainin'!" :)

Though I suppose these short worldbuilding chapters help the plot along just as much as the actionpacked long ones.

*grins* Wuff tries to keep the exposition somewhat limited. But still some needed in order to keep the "What the heck?" factor down a bit. Especially when the premise of Fantasy within a Reality setting is involved, like it is here.

It also provides a nice little 'breather' for the new action sequence. *grins*

..... In regards to my comment on the last chapter....

I have to ask,,, do you know what Zatch Bell is?

Embarrassed to admit that wuffy here is only vaguely aware of Zatch Bell, though the premise does sound quite interesting!

If wuff understands correctly, humans (apparently, many of which are children) team up with an animal (or perhaps demon?) spirit to compete in a series of battles to determine who is the stongest/king of those spirits.

Vargr really wasn't aware of that series/manga/etc. when writing began on this. But wuff can definitely see how some of the concepts parallel between this story series at that one.
