For those of you who do or don't know, I'm a massive Pokemon fan. I don't battle all that often, but I Absol-utely love to theorize, study and formulate teams to eventually try out.
Seriously, I can talk people into the ground with Pokemon and Pokemon-related strategies
So yeah, like over a year ago (maybe? I personally can't remember, but don't really mind) I was able to commission for a team of some of my favorite Pokemon, and man do I love it~
Sadly I don't really have all that many people that I can discuss Pokemon with, (and I find going on forums to either be intimidating, or overloaded with salt) So I end up sitting on my PC analyzing and overanalyzing everything.
Oh well.

I'm a massive fan of Pokemon as well! I got out of the competitive battling but I occasionally try a team out or such whenever I feel like it. I strongly prefer playing through the stories of each game and use different teams each time, it's just so fun to me that way.

I'm planning on dipping my toes into the competitive scene from time to time, but I do my absolute best not to adhere to Smogon rules. Then again I like thinking stuff in a doubles mindset; it opens your mind to all the Pokemon and adds an interesting element to 'em~ But that's me

I've never been a fan of Smogon's rules. I try my best to avoid almost anything they say about certain Pokemon I like to use. Flareon is my all-time favorite one and they say he's an awful pokemon but I disagree. But yeah I sometimes think about strategies and such myself and use Pokemon differently.

Agreed~ And I'm actually putting together a team, using a Flareon in it; Hopefully I get good results from this~ I think I can see people's anger towards Flareon, but it just means that (s)he needs looking at a different angle to make them interesting~

I'm a pretty big pokemaniac myself. Slightly above average I'd say in my knowledge and skills. At the very least, I've beaten at least one game from every generation (including any post game content), completed my Sinnoh National Dex (working on trading everything up through poketransfer and pokemon bank so I can complete my Alolan national dex), and even have gold trophy's on every Pokedex 3D Pro quiz.
