The mix of darks and lights with the color palette gives a great tone that reminds me of blade runner

I must point out that I really, REALLY like your backgrounds, by the way.

There's just something incredibly neat regarding the contrast between the very sharp lines and character designs and the array of effects applied upon it all. It give the entire scene a mix of surreality and yet, life to it.

Though it does leave me to ponder how many freakin' hours you must sink in every individual page to get such an effort ; it's probably a bit harder than drawing five lines and then applying a filter.

Well I thank you kindly for that! It's funny really, because me and backgrounds or environment design have never really been a thing. I usually just like working with characters but I wanted Machine 2 to have a much richer detail to it than the previous entry, so thank you for taking the time and giving me feedback on that! I'd say it usually takes myself three or four hours to complete a page, however that's juggled between work, family, alternate projects, depression, and rest.

It's been an interesting experience so far and who knows, I might come to appreciate and even grow faster with the design work from this series! You be good now and I wish you pleasant health.
