Fossil pokemon are great fun, and I had an idea for a region where, instead of being fossilized in rock, you'd have to revive fossils of pokemon trapped in ice. This one was a Rock type nonetheless, but there were also an Ice/Electric and pure Ice planned. This is the only one I got around to scanning, but it's probably one of my favorite pokemon designs ever.

That was supposed to be part of the description, actually. The first time scientists revived the Crest Fossil, they thought something went wrong with it. However, after multiple revivals and the discovery of an intact Upseidon skeleton, they came to realize that its head really was on upside-down, resulting in its punny name.
