At one point, she had a name, a normal life, and a future ahead of her. That all disappeared one day when a van pulled up, and its occupants jumped out at her. That would be the beginning of a nightmare that would last for months. A terrorist group of an unknown name and origin had captured her, and many others, holding them in some sort of complex. Never would she ever learn of what their true motives were. And even if she did, it would vanish from memory as they tortured her viciously. The most horrible act being one which her and the other prisoners feared the most.
Once or twice a month, they'd take the prisoners away to a distinct room, much cleaner than the others in the complex, with a variety of chemistry and biogenic equipment scattered about on the desks and counters that circled the otherwise poorly lit room. Here, they would be administered an injection of some sort of mutagen, and then taken back to their cells. What followed was a week of numbing pain and psychological torture as their bodies reacted to the mutagen, twisting and reshaping, convulsing in their cells, begging for help. She would meet the same fate that many others have. Her humanity was stripped from her. This, along with the tortures she went through, would ultimately lead to everything about her disappearing. Her name, her purpose. All of it. The only thing she remembered, was sadness and despair.
Every so often, the terrorists would put the prisoners up for sale, but only after they had been changed once. She remembered the first time. People cracked cow and udder jokes about her, while some declared she should be put out of her misery. But many wanted to see what else could happen to her. The thought of being further changed horrified her, especially how so many people wanted it. No one did buy her, so that's exactly what happened. Her neck was elongated, she grew an extra pair of breasts, and her teats were turned into breasts, the worst part about her newest change. She was becoming a freak. And everyone liked it when she showed up for sale a second time. So much, that one person actually purchased her this time. Seeing the man in crowd, holding his arm up, stating that he'll take her...she wasn't sure if this meant she was free from the terrorist torture, or just simply going into the hands of someone just as twisted.
The first thing the man did after he bought her was remove the ropes and muzzle, and wrapped her up in blankets. The man, whose name she learned to be Kevin, took her to his home. She couldn't be sure of what was happening. This could have been a ruse, just to earn her trust and then shatter it and her later. Or was this genuine care for her?
Over the next few months Kevin comforted her, gave her shelter, and gave her time to be on her own and readjust to this "new" way of life. And over these months, she saw indeed that he was truly a wonderful man who cared deeply about her. He had saved her, and for that she was forever grateful. In time, she learned to trust Kevin, something Kevin was quite pleased to see. He soon provided her something she deeply missed following her first transformation. After much discussion and approval with her, and following a very difficult and lengthy procedure, she acquired cybernetic arms to replace the ones she lost. Life was indeed, returning back to normal, for as much as it could.
Kevin would also teach her some new skills, most notable a thing or two about bio-sciences and chemistry. Seeing the potential to help herself and others out with unwanted changes and transformations, she started to dedicate much of her spare time improving her knowledge in these areas and trying out the equipment Kevin provided her. She isn't close to any breakthroughs, but that's not stopping her from trying harder to come through with something.
But in the end, one of the greatest things Kevin provided her was a name. Throughout the torment she endured at the hands of the terrorists, she had lost her old one. And so, Kevin bestowed upon her a new name, one that she felt proud of and enjoyed very much. Donna, at long last, was now happy.
