Kiara: Who knew the 'fiercest in the Pride Lands' still has to get baths, huh Kion?

Kion: Shut up, Kiara.........

This was my part of my first ever art trade, done with QueenNalaTheLioness (queennalathelioness.deviantart.com). She requested a drawing of Nala being playful with Kion and Kiara as cubs, and eventually, I came up with what you see here. It's a callback to when Sarabi gave Simba his bath in the first movie, and he says "Mom! You're messing up my mane!" Well, all I have to say to that is: Like father, like son.

The other reason I wanted to do this was because I finally managed to see The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar online. I plan to write my full review of it here once I can finally think things through with it, but my initial impressions were that it was quite good. Problematic to be sure, but still very enjoyable. There were things I liked with things I didn't, as well as some of the things I was expecting being there while others, not so much. It's a long story. But overall, I'd recommend giving it a chance if you haven't already. Just be ready for Kiara's personality to be a bit different. Speaking of that, even if it weren't for that, something tells me she would still be teasing Kion like she is here.
