Yet another character who chose to defy simplicity, this squirrel's been playing in some rather dark RP before I even had a character drawn; she was literally going to be a throwaway character to be fed off to a predator, but as fate would have it, she survived. These markings? Probably not official. I was just playing around with drawing stuff all over her, then composing some symbolic introductory mumbo-jumbo for it. I would say the inspiration for the markings comes from a combination of Day of the Dead, celestial, and elemental sources.
