Axikor has been keeping the mystery egg warm the past several months by using an electric blanket as a make-shift nest. Often he will snuggle against the comfy warmth and drift off to sleep.

One night he stirred from discomfort, blinking heavily as he shifted to find the source. His heart dropped and he was immediately jolted awake when he realized the blanket had malfunctioned and was overheating drastically. His skin was burned, but he paid no mind as his groggy brain raced to find a way to protect this thing he had been carefully tending to for so long. He was too slow.

Something must have been triggered within the egg by the increased temperature, as it quickly burst into flames seemingly of its own accord. The flames grew hotter and hotter until the cloth nest was nothing but ashes.

Burning. Burning. Axikor could do nothing but watch as the sweltering heat from the egg was too intense to get close to. The heat of the blaze only increased until the shell finally succumbed with a loud CRACK!

"What have I done!?"
