To be fair, the blade isn't easy to cut with towards the hilt of the blade. It was actually a technique to hold the blade from that part to increase the strength of the swing at desperate measures. :D

Also, the vast majority of a blades cutting action comes from friction, so just holding the blade wouldn't do much unless it's especially sharp.

You need to have applied for it a while ago D: The alpha ends at the end of tomorrow, but otherwise I'd check out anywhere on google. Figure a search for "For Honor beta" or something may pull something up!
