Stirring to the soft, warm caress of a newly dawned day’s many rays and the groaning, splintering cracking of her cracking bed, the witch slowly finds herself waking from her deep slumber, content and calm. Perhaps she should just remain in bed today? Simply roll over and pull her wings close, escape from the world just this once and-

“Not again!” Oh, they are definitely going to have words about this… Just you wait little doll. Just you wait. Just as soon as she has repaired her bed and mended her clothes...

If they're aren't any pictures to go along with these stories, a lot of people may have to guess what happens to the characters and what they become. Looks like she'll still be herself, though I think she'll be overly suspicious of strange new things in her home now.
You know, your art style sometimes makes it hard to tell if they actually have muzzles or not.

In this case, the story was written with the depicted sequence in mind (which I must add is one I enjoy greatly ^^). And on the topic of minds, when it comes to the snippets and stories I write to these, I like the characters the way they normally are. As such, you can expect them to seldom - if at all - involve any heavier kinds of mental changes. At most, they may act a bit more like the animals they've gained the traits from.

A matter of perspective I suppose.
In one case, you must infiltrate a heavily guarded magical sanctum and break the seal of the fabled tome, in the other, all you need to break into a witch's secret sanctum and liberate the right doll.
Though I suppose you could also befriend your local mage. They all appear to be quite the magnets for things like these, so it might just be a matter of time.
