Bugsy lived as a sadistic loner, known all around the safari as a heartless con artist willing to trick others for his own needs and pleasures. After a violent death he awoke in Purgatory where he was met with the decision to either rot in the hellish plagued lands, or pursue the chance to redeem himself.
