Taiko did appreciate it though, based on a very faint blush that she was hiding.

Welp, one of the more obscure characters that I've kind of made when I was doing a Monster Hunter binge. The Yian Kut-Ku was one monster that I easily liked, especially so for its clumsy as hell way of 'fighting', even when it was enraged. Enough so to where I felt that if the Kut-Ku was anthro'd and more civilized, it would have a personality that was pretty much Tsundere(meaning cold/hostile at first, but loving when warmed up to others).

Taiko here wasn't quite spoiled when she was rescued, the scar there due to her having been wounded from a hunt for food and would have bled out had someone not found and brought her to a nearby village to heal and help her recover. She became spoiled when she got accustomed to the way of life in a more civilized setting, no longer having to hunt and risk her hide for when she was hungry. This pretty much resulted in her getting a bit of bulk and cost her ability of flight, but not entirely since she can still use her wings to give herself a bit of lift when trying to get something.
