Blleegghh, I don't like the idea of lobotomies at all. Probably because it was an actual thing that was done to actual people. @.@ (But it DOES make a pretty badass character concept soooo~) :D

Yeah, a man named António Egas Moniz got it in 1949. And they well, as you said, it was a good alternative to make them more...docile, instead of locking them up, no matter the fact that a large number of people died because of this 'treatment' or were crippled, like the sister of John F. Kennedy at the age of 23, was rendered into a state of a toddler.
