It doesn't always work out, yet I think that's probably the way it should be.

Working on them consistently. Ink is...rather unforgiving to amateurs, yet I think I'm learning more with a pen than I ever did with lead.

Imo it also forces me to face the boundaries of my so-called 'comfort zone', that is to say frontal busts, and ask myself what else I can do and if I dare to do it without an eraser as a crutch.
