yeah. It can be. It involves more adulting than I'd like, and a bajillion hours, and a forced ramen diet... but sometimes the sense of accomplishment is worth it.

I was thinking $125 cut and hinged with one pair of eye blanks, $135 with 3 pairs of eye blanks

I'm not all that experienced with non-foam heads or resin eyes, how much would it cost for the eyes to be done?

Ok, So... You'd just need one pair of resin eye blanks, which would come with the blank at $125, which you would just paint appropriately. You then hot glue them in and use apoxie sculpt to make the lids.

Horns: I don't actually have horns that would match your character. You could probably cut the kudu horns shorter, but it might not result in the look you're going for.

And as far as ready to fur blanks... I'm not really doing those right now. I have a brick and mortar boutique, and our busy season just hit, but for your character, it would probably cost somewhere in the 300-500 range, and I won't be taking commissions until the fall.

I'm a tiny but confused about what you mean about this blank not being ready to fur - I assumed once the blank was purchased (unless I need to cut it etc myself) it would be fine to fur?

Ready to fur means eyes/eyelids installed, horns installed, any alterations/extras you want done, jawset / lip installed, etc.

ohh, I can do that part myself, I thought you meant there was something up with the blanks and needed work BEFORE that stage, which confused me a little bit, I was wondering what the hell happened with the creation process lol

Lol no! Yeah, the blanks are pretty much ready to go, but when I sculpt a base I try to go a bit more on the bland / featureless side of things so whoever gets one can customize expressions, eyebrows, etc. Since every character is so different. That's all :)
