My attempt at TRUE japanese cuisine, a tasty hidden gem of japan
a most beloved & famous dish of talented japanese master chefs
~Grocery List~
The first most important ingredient is curry sauce mix
Which i highly recommend using of the following boxes Here
I went with the: TASTY CURRY RICE SAUCE MIX
(THE GREEN BOX)
Potatoes
Carrots
Onions
Celery (optional)
Rice
Beef (thin)
(Chicken is fine too)
Oil
~Preparation~
Cut up your meat into cubes for quicker easier cooking
Oil the pan to start cooking your meat
Cook half way for the vegetables
Your gonna want to peel the skin off your carrots & potatos
Cut the potato in half then cut that half in cubes
Or cut into wheels
Same for the carrots
Cut it in half down the middle
Take the new half and cut into two slim sticks
Finally cut those into cubes
Onions how ever you prefer
I recommend bite sized pieces
Throw in your vegetables, your gonna want to scoop the meat away from the bottom
of the heat & let the vegetables cook next
Now your gonna want to add the water
Don't pay attention to the box, add only 1 to 2 cups of water
You want the mix to be thick NOT thin. 1 or 2 is perfect. 4 - 6 is too much
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ONLY 1 or 2 cups water
Let that boil then add the curry bricks
Constantly stir the mix till all of the bricks are melted into a nice thick sauce
You may add milk to make it creamy
