The Ever So Angry Snake
Long ago, in the jungles of Gaila, there lived a wide variety of animals. One of which was the snake. While mostly harmless unless threatened, there was one snake that would poison anybody no matter what. Whether being stepped on, picked up, awakened, or even accidentally brushed by the tail, this snake would not hesitate to bite someone with his venomous fangs. He was an interesting snake, with a big black spot on his back so others can know he approaches. When anyone sees that big black spot, they dashed like they were running from Satan, which they pretty much were. All animals feared him.
One sunny day, the snake was in the green area of the jungle, near the river, when a magical wizard approached him. Now, the snake had seen this wizard multiple times, once even three times a day, and he was getting pretty sick of him.
"Nyehhh..." started the snake, "Whaddya want this time, hm?"
"Did you not heed my warning?" asked the wizard, "I keep telling you constantly that if you keep biting other animals, I would have to turn you into a stone. And since you did not heed my warning, I have no choice but."
The snake never knew about these warning before. Suddenly he turned red with anger.
"Look, bud. If ya turn me into a stone, before ya do such a thing, you woulda already had my fangs in yer arm, ya hear? So, maybe you could just be on yer way, I keep biting people, and we have a leetle negotiation, if ya know what I mean?"
"I'm a wizard! I'm immortal! It is impossible for me to be poisoned! You had four chances and you failed! You are now to be turned into a stone!"
With a wave of the magic wand, and a "POOF!", the snake turned into a stone statue. He was put up on a skyscraper as decoration, along with many other snakes that did the same thing. The moral of this story is: Be rude to others and you get dire consequences. The end.
Another fable. I wrote this one long before I joined this site.
