A tengu with a rather painful past, Balaam (as he's chosen to refer to himself) was a mercenary for hire, as most wandering souls tend to find themselves. Hired by the soon-to-be Lord Commander Speelok (a kobold, no less!), Balaam has gradually come to accept his new role as the hidden blade of his Commander, doling out swift and brutal punishment for those who would do harm to those who so hard-earned his trust.

Now, if he could only prove to be equally as trust worthy, given that his likeness seems to dot scores of wanted posters along the countryside...
