“You call that running?” Laughed the fox to the rabbit, “I’ll show you real running!” He ran at a very fast speed. Yes, this fox was quite proud of himself, so proud that the other animals were starting to get really sick of his gloating.
“What the heck is up with him?” Asked the bear to the snake, “Always shoving his abilities down our throats… He’s really starting to piss me off”
“I know” replied the snake, watching the fox jump higher than a kangaroo, “He’sss really ssstarting to get out of hand…”
Meanwhile the fox kept flaunting his talents “And YOU suck, and YOU suck, you all suck!” He kept shaming the rest of the animals, and they got madder and madder.
“Guys, watch me jump that lion over there!” the fox said. At first the animals were ready to tell him to stop before it was too late, but with a little bit of thinking, they decided to allow it to happen and they followed him to the lion.
The fox sneaked up to the lion. He was fast asleep and it looked like he didn’t want to be bothered. The fox jumped up on him and shouted in his ear: “YOU CALL THAT SLEEPING?! MAN, YOU SUCK!”
The lion quickly woke up and roared, but the fox was still looking smug. Before another move was made, all the animals looked away, and when they turned back, the lion was once again asleep and it looks like the fox is finally done with his bragging…
Extremely obvious moral: Being overzealous can be very dangerous.
