So, starting off posting scans from my sketchbooks with this one that 
TabyKat posted a photo of recently at http://www.furaffinity.net/view/17598577/ but is really worth a much better scan.
Done at MFF last year.
My general idea with sketchbooks is to have a basic theme (in this case, 'giants' and then see what ideas the artist comes up with. Often much more fun than being too specific.
